Ball Dropper Chute/Load Ramp

Balls are loaded into the gear when it rotates, they are then released through a chute in the bottom (step 5)

Gear 

Used to rotate the gear. Positionally controlled via arduino and motor drivers (the small squares you can see above the ramps) to allow one ball to drop at a specified time.

Stepper Motor

Ball Release Chute

Designed to hold the bars at an angle so the balls bounce off once they drop onto the bars and don't cause interference with adjacent bars. The "pegs" you see are designed so that there is minimal surface contact between the bar and the holder so that the sound is resonant and not damped when vibrating, while still securing the bars.
