ABOUT ME
I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering Student at Northeastern University. I have finished my first 6-month Co-Op at Barletta Heavy Division as a Field Engineer, bridging the communication gap between the worksite and management. I have had the privilege of working on several MBTA projects, including Codman Yard expansion, Red Line & Orange Line signals upgrade, and Green Line accessibility.
At Northeastern University, I have gained many engineering skills, such as C++, Solidworks, 3D Printing, Matlab, and the Engineering Design Process. I was appointed the lead Pedal Box engineer for Northeastern Electric Racing, where I built technical skills such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and CNC Machining, and management skills while leading a team of 4. I want to apply these engineering skills to develop sports and medical equipment for women.
While in High School, I founded the first women's wrestling team in my school district. Continuing my training in wrestling allowed me to train with several former Olympians and compete in the 2023 US Open. Wrestling on both a men's and women's team gave me the confidence to pursue a career in STEM and an appreciation for discipline when balancing school and life.
