As a Structural / Project Engineer at Bright Engineering Consultants B.V., with 4+ years of experience, I work on projects involving the structural verification of steel structures and load case analysis in accordance with standards such as DNV, Lloyd’s Register (LR), and Eurocode.

My engineering responsibilities include:

• Developing finite element (FE) models using plate, beam, and solid elements for linear and nonlinear static analysis, advanced nonlinear analysis, buckling analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue analysis.
• Performing detailed engineering calculations for welds, bolted connections, and the buckling of beams and plates.
• Designing lifting arrangements and seafastening structures, primarily for the transportation of wind turbine components for offshore wind farms.
• Communicating regularly with clients to provide project updates and collaborate on engineering solutions.

In addition to my engineering responsibilities, I manage the company's IT operations, including engineering software licenses, technical troubleshooting, and direct coordination with software vendors. I also manage Cisco network infrastructure and firewall settings, and purchase and build high-performance engineering workstations optimized for CAD and simulation applications to reduce computational time and improve engineering productivity.
