2024 Competition Robot

As mechanical team lead, I designed and built the shooter and superstructure pictured here. The shooter utilized two flywheels to fire a piece the same direction as the intake. It additionally has a flip out amp scoring system, which doubles as the robots indexer.

In the above images, you can see how pieces are indexed under the bumper, then either fired the same direction or scored in the "amp" through the flip out mechanism.
Nearly all components were custom modeled then machined in house. 1"x2" tubing was used for frame components which had a custom "pocketing" design to relieve weight (and look cool)
