What?
The smart flow meter helps agencies in monitoring their clients. It gives them the possibility to remotely control and track users consumption which is also helpful for the users as it can detect leaks and notify them.
How?
The Smart flow meter is equipped with 4 led with representing the status of user. Yellow for leak detection, green bill paid, blue bill unpaid, and red water cutoff. It has a physical button to stop the flow manually if needed. The led screen shows real-time volume (liters/gallons) and billing status.
The Smart flow meter is equipped with a flow multimeter which gives information about the flow and consumption. The Arduino/lora board permit to share information remotely to an user app or to the agencies for remote control. The electric valve allows to shut the water on or off depending on the needs. All of the electronic components are powered by an onboard battery which can be changed or charged.
