I am a senior at Fenwick High School interested in mechanical engineering and the intersection of robotics, scientific instrumentation, and computational biology. My engineering interests grew through hands-on work in my headstone/monument business, where I encountered real problems involving heavy-object transportation, installation, design, and reliability.

I have since explored those problems through projects ranging from mechanical-system concepts and parametric engineering software to causal biological modeling and research software. Long term, I am especially interested in building intelligent physical systems for robotics, biotechnology, scientific instrumentation, and automated experimentation.
