ABOUT ME
Welcome to my corner of the internet! I am a driven mechanical engineering student with a keen interest for aerospace systems, robotics, and applications of artificial intelligence. Below, you can find a quick preview of my experiences along with some cool photos I took throughout my time in them!
As Airframe Lead at McMaster Rocketry, I lead the structural design and integration of our next rocket for Launch Canada 2027, including the integration of our student-developed Icarus II hybrid rocket engine. I previously designed internal structures for avionics and payload subsystems and led the design, manufacturing, and flight validation of the RADAX Coupler, a novel six-joint, 45° structural interface that resists shear and bending loads during launch.
I also created FIRESAT, a self-led 3U CubeSat concept for autonomous wildfire detection in low-Earth orbit. What began as an end-to-end personal project, spanning CAD, structural and thermal analysis, machine learning, and mission simulation, grew into research presented at the 14th European CubeSat Symposium and being 1 of 5 recipients worldwide of the ESA Academy Travel Scholarship.
FIRESAT now continues in McMaster’s Intelligent and Cognitive Engineering Laboratory as Sundance, an onboard wildfire-detection AI system. I am first author on an accepted AIR-RES 2026 conference paper, with a journal article in development, and lead a multidisciplinary McMaster AIAA team validating the use of a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 running the Sundance model using the CAN-SBX platform for high-altitude deployment.
