Built an analog guitar effects pedal by assembling a pre-manufactured PCB and installing all electronic components, wiring, and hardware into a ready-made enclosure. DETAILS

  • Populated the PCB with all electronic components and soldered each connection while ensuring correct polarity and orientation.

  • Wired the bypass footswitch, audio jacks, power jack, status LED, and potentiometers according to the pedal’s schematic.

  • Tested and debugged the pedal using a guitar and amplifier signal chain until the output matched expected behavior.

  • Used continuity testing to confirm correct wiring and eliminate unwanted noise or grounding issues.

  • Gained hands-on experience reading wiring diagrams and identifying component values for proper circuit function.
