OVERVIEW

For my Engineering Communications and CAD course at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I was tasked with the precision modeling of an "Ice Shield." The objective was to transform a high-detail 2D technical specification into a geometrically accurate 3D model, ensuring every fillet, radius, and section view alignment met industry-standard tolerances.

HighlightS

Precision Modeling: Successfully interpreted complex 2D drafting symbols and dimensions to create a 1:1 scale digital twin.

Technical Literacy: Validated the design against an official RPI title block, maintaining professional standards for revision history and scale.

SKILLS

Software: Siemens NX / Autodesk Inventor (depending on which you used for this specific clip)Technical Drafting: GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) interpretation, Section Views, and Detail Scaling.Mechanical Design: 3D Part Modeling, Patterning, and Filleting.Quality Control: Dimension verification and document management.
