Project Timeline

OVERVIEW

Over six competitive seasons (2019–2025), I led the design and fabrication of five 120lb industrial-grade robots for the FIRST Robotics Competition. Acting as both Team Lead and CAD Lead for a 20-person team, I managed the full engineering lifecycle, taking projects from initial strategy through final assembly within a 6-week timeline. My role required bridging the gap between digital design and physical manufacturing. I modeled complex assemblies in SolidWorks and Onshape, then worked with my team to manufacture the designs through precision machining (mills, lathes, and CNC routers). This experience gave me a practical understanding of Design for Manufacturing and the ability to lead a team under high-pressure constraints.
