ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Emily, a senior at Northwestern University studying Mechanical Engineering and Psychology. I have a passion for robotics, design, and product development! I’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating things that once seemed impossible, whether that means designing a robot, developing a better product, or finding a creative solution to a problem that has never been solved before.

Through my coursework, research, internships, and engineering teams, I’ve gotten to explore everything from CAD and manufacturing to robotics and automotive engineering. What I enjoy most is being able to take an idea from a sketch or CAD model and turn it into something real. Long term, I hope to work on technologies that push the boundaries of what we can build while also making a meaningful difference in how people interact with the world around them.

Outside of engineering, I love playing guitar, listening to music, playing video games, and getting way too invested in building things in Minecraft. I think that creative side of me carries over into engineering too. I’m always excited to learn something new, take on a challenge, and see where an idea can go.
