Project Timeline

Feb 2026 - Current

OVERVIEW

Designed and tested a low-power audio amplifier using an LM386 integrated circuit to amplify small input signals to a level capable of driving a speaker. Input signals were generated with a function generator and circuit behavior was evaluated using an oscilloscope and multimeter. A potentiometer was incorporated to implement adjustable volume control. This project is ongoing, with current plans to develop a more powerful instrument amplifier, as well as effect pedals underway.

HighlightS

This project is paving the way towards a larger team initiative to develop an accessible, hands-free audio system for people with disability.
