ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Aryan Pillai, and I am a Computer Engineering Honors student at Virginia Tech with extensive experience in embedded systems and hardware integration. As a key contributor to the Virginia Tech Motorsports (FSAE) Electric Powertrain team, I specialize in the full-lifecycle development of PCBAs and architectures for high-performance automotive environments. My experience here includes 4-layer PCB design in Altium, signal integrity analysis, developing low-level drivers in C/C++ for STM32-based real-time systems, and wiring harness manufacturing.

I am passionate about solving unique challenges that arise at the intersection of power electronics, sensing, and autonomous hardware. My hands-on experience with motorsports has given me a deep appreciation for the testing, validation, and iterative design processes essential to building reliable systems in demanding environments.

I am actively seeking internship opportunities in embedded engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, and all related fields within electrical engineering. I'm particularly interested in roles that involve firmware development, circuit design, hardware-software integration, or systems engineering. Whether it's designing power management systems, developing embedded control algorithms, or optimizing sensor interfaces, I'm eager to contribute to innovative projects and continue growing as an engineer. I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where I can apply both my technical skills and problem-solving mindset to real-world engineering challenges.
