OVERVIEW

Used principles of agile and morphogenetic prototyping to develop a design for a unique bench which both looks aesthetically pleasing and demonstrates the strengths of manufacturing concrete structures via multiple 3D-printed molds. Created multiple iterations in SolidWorks to provide various options in design, collaborating with experts in the manufacturing method and reaching a final design that satisfies all desired criteria. The bench will be manufactured and placed in Denmark this Fall.

Mechanical Engineering Student

I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at UW–Madison with a passion for hands-on design. Through projects ranging from designing a concrete bench with unique manufacturing methods to a hackathon-winning QR-code guest verification system, I’ve developed skills in CAD, iterative design, and creative problem-solving. My study abroad at the Danish Technical University broadened my perspective on global engineering practices, and I’m eager to apply that experience to designing innovative, real-world solutions.
