ABOUT ME
I’m a mechanical engineering student at Georgia Tech, and what I love most about engineering is turning an idea into something I can hold in my hands and use.
That’s driven most of what I’ve done so far. At Police Security Flashlights, I took two patent-pending lights from early sketches to a 10,000-unit production run. At Georgia Tech Research Institute, I led a small team that designed and built a liquid cooling system from scratch. Right now I’m designing a LiDAR mount for an autonomous RC car. The work I enjoy most is the part between the idea and the finished product: prototyping, testing, finding out what doesn’t work, and fixing it.
I’ve been building things for as long as I can remember, starting with Legos and Minecraft. A few years ago, I built a set of cornhole boards in a woodshop just to see if I could. I still love Legos, and when I’m not building something, I’m probably playing the Arkham Batman games or watching a movie.
Most of all, I want to work on projects that matter, where what I design ends up in someone’s hands and makes their day a little better.
