Project Timeline

Sep 2016 - Dec-2016

OVERVIEW

The goal of this project was two-fold- 1. Write code in C++ to identify QR codes and map specific codes to robotic commands 2. Design a robot chassis in SolidWorks to house a custom PCB and mount servo motors

Additional Details

This project had two goals:

The first goal was to write code in C++ to identify QR codes and map specific codes to robotic commands such as moving one servo and both servos. The main library used for this goal was an early release of OpenCV.

The second goal was to design a robot chassis in SolidWorks to house a custom PCB, mount servo motors and a wireless charging coil. The designed chassis was 3D printed and the entire robot was assembled and the steps to do so were written as a technical document. The supervising professor continued to use this chassis for his future work and did not redo the original design.
