OVERVIEW

Issues: 1.Amplifier PCB should be small enough to be under 6cmx6cm 2.Should be able to supply enough current while keeping distortion low 3.Amplifier should be able to be used with In Ear Monitor or Headphone Solution: 1. Implement separate gain and buffer section to reduce load. 2. Use parallel opamp to increase current output from 70mA to 140mA perchannel 3. Use SMT component to reduce overall PCB foot print 4. Implement Switchable Gain 2.5x and 4x to accomodate In ear monitor and headphones.

  1. High power out 1.2W at 32ohm compared to more common headphone amp around 500mW
  2. Compact size 5cmx5cm making retrofit and integration easier.
  3. Low THD around -110dB while avoiding any exotic part or complicated topology.
